J. Lucas Wimer, Principal

J. Lucas Wimer is a Principal in the firm’s Strategic Resources Group. Prior to joining THL, Mr. Wimer was Vice President of Information Technology at Capital One, a national leader in banking and consumer lending based in McLean, Virginia. At Capital One, Mr. Wimer led the system strategy, project delivery, and application maintenance across a wide range of financial and corporate systems. Prior to that, he was a Director in the Business Consulting Services group of IBM (formerly PWC Consulting) where he spent over ten years in the U.S. and Asia leading large global system implementation projects, system strategy assessments, process re-engineering, and corporate restructuring efforts.
Mr. Wimer holds a B.A., with Honors, in English and Economics from Connecticut College and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
