David V. Harkins, Vice Chairman

David V. Harkins is a Vice Chairman of Thomas H. Lee Partners. Mr. Harkins has been associated with Thomas H. Lee Partners since 1975. In addition, he has over 30 years experience in the investment and venture capital industries with the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company where he began his career, as well as TA Associates and Massachusetts Capital Corporation.
Mr. Harkins is currently a Director of Dunkin' Brands Inc. His prior directorships include Cott Corporation, Inc. (NYSE:COT), EquiCredit Corporation, First Alert, Inc., Fisher Scientific International Inc., HomeSide, Inc., Metris Companies Inc., Stanley Furniture Company, Inc. (NASDAQ:STLY), Tucker Anthony Sutro, National Dentex Corporation, and Nortek Inc.
Mr. Harkins holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy.
Mr. Harkins established the David and Sheryll Harkins Fund for Genitourinary Oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in April 2004. He presently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee at Dana Farber. He also serves on the President’s Council at Massachusetts General Hospital.
